Electrical stimulation transcranial

Transcranial electrostimulation (TES-therapy) is one of the physiotherapeutic methods of treatment. Therapy is conducted with the patient lying on the couch. Duration 20-40 min, the course consists of 6-12 treatments. TES therapy has a strong analgesic effect, increases the overall efficiency of the organism, normalizes blood pressure.

Indications for use

The procedure is effective in the relief of acute, subacute and chronic pain syndromes; stress States, depression, anxieties, reduced efficiency, chronic fatigue syndrome; hypertensive disease of I-II degree, hypotension, neurocirculatory dystonia; sensorineural hearing loss; traumatic and surgical wounds, burns and ulcers; diffuse itching dermatoses, neurodermatitis, eczema, seborrhea; stimulation of the immune system in immunodeficiency; primary osteoarthritis; alcohol withdrawal syndrome, alcohol affective disorders, pathologic addiction to alcohol; opioid addiction; toxicosis of the first half of pregnancy; menopausal disorders; allergic conditions.

Contraindications

Therapy is contraindicated in convulsive conditions, epilepsy, trauma and brain tumors, infectious lesions of the Central nervous system; hypertensive disease stage III, hypertensive crisis; hydrocephalus; acute mental disorders; thyrotoxicosis; atrial fibrillation; presence of skin lesions in areas of electrode placement; the presence of implanted pacemakers. And also contraindicated in children up to five years.
